All Romance eBooks, LLC (ARe) distributes eBooks. We carry all romance sub-genres and are currently accepting works in all categories. Publishers must upload a minimum of ten titles in order to qualify as a publishing partner.
Q: Why distribute through ARe?
A: ARE is the creation of two women who are both romance publishers and lovers of eBooks and was therefore designed to meet the needs of both readers and publishers. Please refer to the customer FAQ for further details.
Q: Does ARe have special formatting requirements?
A: No. We don't dictate how your books will look. As the publisher that is up to you.
Q: How do I submit titles?
A: Once you are set up with an account, you will have access to a secure administration area. From that area you will be able to access your publisher report and manage all of your titles. You submit the meta data, interior files, and exterior cover image on-line through your personal administration area.
Q: Will ARe accept titles submitted directly from an author?
A: No. At this time we are only partnering with publishers that will commit to uploading ten or more titles.
Q: Does ARe sell works that are in languages other then English?
A: No. English only, please.
Q: Does ARe require proof that the publisher holds the appropriate rights?
A: Publishers will need to acknowledge that they hold electronic and/or audio rights of the works they upload as a part of our publishing partnership terms of agreement.
Q: Does ARe have pricing requirements?
A: The ARe price can't be higher than the regular list price found elsewhere on the internet.
Q: Who sets the list price for my books?
A: You set the price for your books, not us.
Q: Does ARe ever discount my books?
A: No. If you want to discount your book for a period of time, you may do so. Discounted books will appear on our Discount Books page.
Q: What will this cost me?
A: Nothing. There are no set up fees, hosting fees or any other fees.
Q: What if I want to discontinue sale of a book?
A: You may do that anytime. You control how long a book remains available for sale.
Q: When do I start earning royalties?
A: You start earning royalties with the very first sale.
Q: What percentage do I get?
A: Publishers will earn 60% of every sale.
Q: How often do I get paid?
A: ARe will release payments quarterly, 45 days following the close of the quarter.
Q: How do I know what's selling? Do I need to wait until I get my quarterly payments?
A: You can monitor sales in real time, any time, using our publisher report feature.
Q: How are the top rated list calculated?
A: The rating reported is the mean (simple average) score over the lifetime of the book. In order to be considered eligible for the top rated a book will had to have had 5 ratings.
Q: How are the bestselling ratings calculated?
A: The rating reported is based on the average sales per day for the prior thirty (30) days. In order to be considered "eligible" for the bestsellers a book will have had to have a minimum of 10 sales.

Q: I don't have eBooks in all of those formats. Is that a problem?
A: No. Upload only what you have. There is no requirement to sell in all formats.
Q: How soon will the books be available for sale?
A: Books are available for sale immediately upon upload.
Q: What if I notice an error in the meta data once the book is available for sale?
A: Just go into your administration area and correct it. You can also update the information any time.
Q: What if I want to replace an actual file?
A: As long as the ISBN number is the same, you may update a file.
Q: What if I don't have ISBN's for the work?
A: Sorry, we require one.
Q: How many categories can I select?
A: You may choose up to three categories.
Q: Can ARe explain the various heat ratings?
A: Yes.
1 flame- Stories will either not have consummated love scenes, or if the loves scenes are consummated detail is not given.
2 flames- Stories will have some love scenes. These will be more sensual then graphic and will mostly rely on euphemism.
3 flames- Stories will have sensual, yet more explicit love scenes, and the language used to describe them may be more graphic and direct.
4 flames- Stories have frequent love scenes that are explicit and described using graphic and direct language.
5 flames- Stories have a high frequency of love scenes that are explicit, described using graphic and direct language, and contain subject matter that some readers may consider objectionable.
