Adobe Reader 8 is now available. Should I install it?
No. Although Adobe Reader 8 is available for desktop and laptop computers, it is recommended that eBook users not install Adobe Reader 8 at this time. Adobe Reader 8 is designed to work in conjunction with an application called Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) for the download and use of Adobe eBooks. ADE for Windows and Mac is still in Beta. For now, eBook users should continue to enjoy Adobe eBooks on their currently installed version of Adobe Reader.
