DEEP WATER is the second installment in the Dragon Elementals series and it features my favorite secondary character from Fire in His Eyes—the Water Dragon, Kael. The story is much faster paced than the first one, but I think that is because we are now stepping into an established world and the Prices did not have to detail that world again, they could jump right into the plot. You will find all the wonderful characters from the first story, a rich world and a wonderful romance within these pages. Kael is still a wisecracking, paranoid, demon-hating dragon and you just have to love him. Bryn gives back everything he dishes out and the relationship between the two is hilarious, spicy, magical and heart-warming. The sexual tension in the first part of the story is delicious and is followed by sex scenes that will raise your temperature to the limit. DEEP WATER was a terrific second installment in the Dragon Elemental series and I really look forward to the next.

The equal parts of playfulness and passion between Kael and Bryn was gripping to the point that I read Deep Water in one sitting just to discover what was going on. While I won’t tell what happened, I have to say that I absolutely loved how Kael retrieved the one thing that would make his and Bryn’s love the absolute it could be. Once again the Price sister’s have taken a branch of their unique universe and given us a wonderful look at two of the special people in it. Deep Water is an instant favorite to be re-read time and again; a definite recommended read.

Deep Water is another fine demonstration of the imaginative powers possessed by sister-authors extraordinaire Stella & Audra Price. Maintaining the Universes they create, keeping the various and sundry entities straight, and manipulating the characters, personalities, and capabilities is a vast job; yet the sisters as always accomplish it capably. Deep Water is intriguing from the beginning and nothing in the book disappoints. The appreciably improved editing in this volume also deserves commendation. The subtle trace of humour is much appreciated as well, as the authors deliver another can’t-put-this-one-down-till-the-end story.
From 5 Klovers, Anne, Kwips and Kritiques
Stella and Audra Price continue to write some of the sexiest books out there. DEEP WATER has some of their most sensuous scenes yet, particularly when Bryn swims with Kael in his dragon form. I also love the strength that Stella and Audra Price imbue in their female characters. Bryn has lost her soul in an ill-advised bargain with another demon but her spirit isn’t broken. DEEP WATER is yet another highly recommended and sizzling hot tale from Stella and Audra Price..

The Dragon Elementals series is addictive, and the next installment can't come out soon enough!
From 4.5 stars, LynseyAnne, Ecata Sensual
Deep Water is a fabulously rich read. Kael is a charming, cheeky guy whom I immediately liked. He and Bryn have a chemistry that is a pleasure to watch unfold! Bryn is a woman who on the inside still holds the insecurities of a girl, but on the outside has developed a thicker skin to help her survive. Watching her heal was both beautiful and gratifying. Stella and Audra Price have the ability to make me slow down and experience a story, and Deep Water is no different in that regard. There was so much packed into it that I savored this romance like a huge fudge brownie. This second installment in the Dragon Elementals series was worth the time it took to relish every yummy bit! I can’t wait to see what the Price sisters have in store for the next book in this series!
Excerpt:
Kael hated demons, vehemently, yet he was finding he had to remind himself of that more and more. They were dangerous, even one with so little power as the blonde now walking slightly ahead of him. Shed refused to let him lead the way claiming she knew the way to the jump better than he did. Which he supposed was true. His eyes, however, worked better in the dark than hers did so he could see the small tuft of grass before it tripped her. Anticipating her fall he darted forward catching her and helping her gain her balance before stepping back with a smile allowing her to silently plow ahead.
This one was more dangerous than most, he realized. She called his element. Despite how little power she had he was still drawn to her. That was, after all, why he was here, he couldnt help himself. Hed watched her dive, watched as the sea called her. The move itself had been poor, impressive yet poor in execution. Show boating for the tourists, exactly what her employers would pay her to do. Still hed been mesmerized, the sea had welcomed her, caressed her. It wasnt typical behavior and he needed to know why it loved her. So like a moth to a flame curiosity drew him in closer to her.
She wasnt any real threat at the moment, she had no clue what he was and he didnt expect that to change. At worst shed think he was a roane or some other type of water dweller. Even if she researched thoroughly, dragon was the last thing that would spring to mind, unless he did something stupid and Kael wasnt in the habit of stupid, not any more.
They made their steady climb up the side of the cliff, the long grasses brushing against them. It was clear that this path wasnt used very often.
Do many others come up here? He asked her back before he could stop himself.
She looked over her shoulder and a smile passed her lips. "No, why? Thinking of ravishing me in the dark?" she asked coyly and winked.
At the look his body stiffened and he came up with about a thousand different uses for those lips. It had been a long time since he'd felt the pull of an ice demon, especially one so easy on the eyes. Sex, if he allowed it, would be mind blowing. "I am now." He grinned, telling her the truth.
She shook her head and chuckled. "Remind me not to tease you, you tease back," she said and used a palm trunk as a balance as she hopped up onto a rock and then turned, her hair covering part of her face. "We are almost there, about another fifty yards. You sure youre down for a night dive? Therere rocks down there."
She looked stunning in the moonlight as it lit up a few of her blonde highlights and emphasized her milky soft skin. "I know where they are. I'll go first if you want... just to make sure you dont hit any." He goaded.
She laughed out loud. "Um... My cliff, remember? I do do this for a living. Good thing I still have my suit on."
"Ah well I seem to have forgotten mine." He smiled watching her response. In truth he hadn't felt any need for one; he mostly swam in his true form, demonstrating the fact that asking her out had been a last minute decision.
Bryn turned and gave him an incredulous look. "Really? Well I can take it if you can. Cant have those spiffy pants getting all water logged can we? And not to worry, I wont peek."
"Oh you can peek if you want; its not just my boat thats bigger."
She choked and sputtered, apparently taken aback by his bold behavior, but she recovered quickly. "So thats the pickup line you were going to use?"
He jumped up next to her reveling in how good she felt just standing next to him. They weren't even touching, but they could be so easily. He could barely control himself and it wasn't just his body that wanted her. His whole essence needed her. He smiled at her, his face inches from hers before turning away from her with some effort and jumping down on the other side of the log. "I don't need pick up lines little demon," He said mostly to remind himself of what she was. "And the fact that you assume everything is one means you've been hearing them for far too long." She was dangerous, almost deadly, seeing as how he was still here with her. Despite this knowledge he still held his hand out to help her down.
She accepted his help and nodded. "I work at one of the most exclusive resorts where employees who screw around with guests are over looked and sometimes encouraged. Granted I'm not one of those girls, but pretty much anywhere I have worked doing what I do, its all the same. So yeah, I have my guard up a lot. And I dont know why I just told you that," she mumbled and sighed.
"Me nether but damn, if I'd known that maybe I would have booked into the resort." He chuckled motioning for her to lead the way.
"Known what?" she asked as she took the lead once more and started the ascent to the diving deck. "That half the female staff will sleep with anyone wearing a Rolex?"
"Maybe... but then I rarely wear a watch and women like that bore me. I much prefer the ones who can hold my interest for a conversation spanning more than a few seconds." He told her, not really sure if he'd just complimented her or not. Not that he cared much with his eyes firmly on her ass as it moved confidently ahead of him.
"Good to know youre not shallow. What did you mean by your statement then?"
He rolled his eyes failing in his attempt to stop watching that perfect ass. He knew just how it would feel in his hands as he squeezed her, but he needed to know if he was right or not. Curiosity was getting the better of him again. "Statement? Just that gold diggers and whores dont interest me. Although they do have their uses, just that companionship isnt one of them. I suppose if my cock was down their throat then they might be able to hold my interest, but they'd have to be trying real hard if you get my drift."
She laughed. "Well thats straight and to the point Kael. Most men just dont get that crude around me, so kudos to you on that one. And I do get your drift. But that wasnt the statement I was talking about. After I mentioned what the staff does, you said you should have booked into the resort. Why, if youre not interested in some vacation tail?"
"I was joking and I wanted to know if you were going to run and tell on me. Your resort claims to own this beach, I'm trespassing." He grinned at her back. How on earth anyone but him thought they could own the sea and sand he'd never know. "Besides I'm not on vacation as such."
"Eh I could care less. Honestly youre the most interesting person to wash up here in about a year." She turned back to him and grinned. "So if youre not on vacation then, what are you? Some overly wealthy playboy looking to get his pirate kicks on the open sea?"
