Heart of Poetic Justice

Excerpt:
Condemned

Crying louder and louder,

Still there is no one to hear.

Dying inside, lost without you near

I reach for you only to find empty space.

No longer do I feel your saving grace.

Time passes slowly for me in my living hell,

But there is no one to care. So who would I tell?

There isn’t a soul to listen to me.

The reality I live, the pain I feel, you do not see.

It seems death is my only chance to be free.

My spirit called out to you. But my soul you can’t redeem.

For I’m not simply broken but ruined.

The spirit of the broken you can fix,

But that which is ruined you cannot complete the mix.

One must simply wait to bury the damned

For there is no way to save the soul of the condemned!
